Who are they?
These are our grandparents (and great grandparents), Doris and Chester. They were happily married for 52 years and had three daughters. Originating from Kansas City, Missouri, they moved to California where Chester was stationed in the Navy, he served for 4 years. They would eventually move back to Kansas City to raise their daughters. After Doris passed away, Chester moved down to Nixa, Missouri to be with his daughter and granddaughters. They were both laid to rest north of Kansas City. This photo was taken in 1949-1950 and remains our favorite picture of them.
